Who We Are

The people behind Foodiee.ca are a group of local restaurant owners who have been devastated by the effects of the COVID 19 pandemic. The surge of restaurant delivery / take out and the hefty costs of using third party delivery apps have hurt their already fragile businesses. They've been forced to rely on these companies who charge them online ordering fees of up to 30%.  The majority of these multinational companies don't benefit the restaurants, nor do they benefit the local communities they serve.  The people at Foodiee.ca decided to create an online directory for local, independent restaurants to help keep more money in their hands and to give back to their communities with a portion of each sale going to a local charity.

• No monthly contracts. No hidden charges. Simply pay a small fee when orders are placed online from Foodiee.ca. Risk free.

• Offer take out , delivery with your own drivers and/or delivery with a 3rd party company.

• Offer your catering and grocery menu at no additional charge.

• Have guests track your delivery drivers online to provide an experience similar to other 3rd party delivery companies.

• Create your own coupons, promo codes and loyalty rewards.

• Have access to your own dashboard to instantly update menu items and pictures or have live tech support available at no additional charge 24/7.

How We Differ

• We're a service created for restaurant owners by restaurant owners. We work for the benefit of our members and we know how hard each of us need to work in order to keep our businesses afloat.

• The customers who use online ordering belong to you. We don't keep that information hidden from you. This is very important as you can develop and maintain your relationships directly with them.

• You're in charge. You decide what to sell, when to sell it and how much to charge for it. We don't pressure you to offer ridiculous offers and money-losing promotions. You handle customer concerns as you see fit. No waiting on hold to 'fight' with third party customer support for missing/incorrect items.

• Take out with a Heart is our motto. We take a percentage of sales and donate it to community food banks and local charities. We're an integral part of the community and we give back to it.

3rd Party Integration by Deliverect

Foodiee.ca recommends Deliverect to all it’s members in order to integrate all their 3rd party sales channels (UberEats, DoorDash, SkipTheDishes and many more) to their POS systems.  They set up everything and provide a suite of management tools to save you both time, money AND aggravation.  All active Foodiee.ca members will receive 10% OFF the monthly Deliverect service fees.
